- Digital
TV Introduction
Digital terrestrial television broadcast uses all-digital system for
the base band signal, unlike
the current analogue TV system with the analogue base band. Thus providing
studio quality
television viewing, sharp picture and hi-fidelity sound. Being Digital
TV it eliminates all
interference-free, ghosting or noises associated with the analogue
TV.
.
Nationally there may be hundreds of FREE to VIEW (e.g. in UK - Freeview)
Digital TV
programs available that are being transmitted in the Terrestrial network
(for details Check
with your local DTV support group). These programs can be accessed
and viewed using
the DigiTV Laika on the PC. The major benefits of Digital TV are sharper
picture and clear
sound.
